Mechanical Engineering & Product Design

From idea to manufacturable product.

PCI AS turns concepts into engineered, production-ready products — combining mechanical design, CAD and hands-on prototyping.

“The future looks bright for those who keep on creating and innovating.”

About

Engineering creative, well-made products.

PCI AS — Poirters Creative Innovations — is the practice of Jos Poirters, a mechanical engineer based in Lillehammer, Norway. With many years of experience across mechanical and product engineering, the focus is simple: solve real problems with creative, innovative and genuinely buildable solutions.

From first sketch to detailed CAD, working prototype and design-for-manufacture, every project is treated as a partnership — clear communication, careful engineering, and a finished product you can actually make.

Services

What I help you build.

Mechanical Design & CAD

3D modelling, detailed technical drawings and design-for-manufacture — precise, production-ready engineering you can hand straight to a workshop.

Product & Industrial Design

Concept development and product design that balances form, function and feasibility — turning a rough idea into a coherent, desirable product.

Prototyping & Testing

Rapid prototyping, validation and iteration — building real parts to prove the design works before you commit to production.

Process

How a project comes together.

  1. 01

    Concept

We define the problem, constraints and goals — and explore ideas worth building.

  2. 02

    Design & CAD

The concept becomes detailed 3D models and drawings, engineered for manufacture.

  3. 03

    Prototype

We build and test real parts, learning from each iteration to de-risk the design.

  4. 04

    Iterate & Deliver

Refined, validated and documented — handed over ready for production.
